They, like real mischievous ones, put aside more for movies and less for dinners, and did not fulfill the instructions of their parents. In general, the grandmother and grandson "acted unreasonably and were the wrong people," and this united them.
An example of how people converge, having common life values, we see in the story "Youth" L.N. Tolstoy. The main character, Nikolai Irteniev, by virtue of his youth, is fond of student revelry and friendship with the same hangs. But, despite this, friendship with Nekhlyudov, a model of moral values, does not cool, because Nikolay is drawn to him and is very concerned about his moral improvement.

Book example: In the story of A.P. Chekhov, “The Rothschild's Violin,” the hero considered money to be the main value in life, and all the time he calculated losses, and at the end of his life he realized the meaninglessness of his ideals, since he did not find anyone who could sincerely share his beliefs. Such people simply did not need him, because they, too, were only interested in profit.
An example from foreign literature: People with similar life values agree, we see in Mark Twain’s novel “Tom Sawyer”: best friends Tom and Huck find gold and understand that there is something more important than wealth, and they swear to stand up for each other and not give out secrets. They are united by mutual assistance, the desire for kindness and the bonds of partnership.
